Another combination expected here are European team champions, representing Germany, Dorothee Schneider and Sammy Davis Jr.  and Fabienne Lütkemeier, another  member of the current Olympic championship team. Never one to miss an opportunity to ride here in Lyon, Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Deja will be back once again this year. France will be represented by local rider Pierre Volla, current French Pro Elite champion, whose major objective this season is to qualify for the Longines FEI Dressage World CupTM Final at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris.

Two other French riders who are used to competing at top international events will be defending their national colours in Lyon: Ludovic Henry and Arnaud Serre.
