Six teams and four individual riders from nine nations competed in the prize of Nürnberger Versicherung at the FEI European Dressage Championships U25 in Austria (Lamprechtshausen,Salzburg). In 2016 Germany had won the team title and both individual gold medals at the first U25 Dressage Championships in Hagen (GER) and now they made the first step to repeat this success. Team Germany with their Chef d`equipe Monica Theodorescu took Gold ahead of The Netherlands and Sweden.

Host Team Austria ranked sixth because of the fact that they were the only team of three after the drop out of Diana Porsche, whose horse had become sick. Austria`s hopes lie on Karoline Valenta, who finished on sixth place in the individual ranking of the Team Competition.

Tomorrow at 13.00 there will be the first Individual medal decision in the FEI Grand Prix, where all 27 pairs are allowed to compete in. On Sunday the best 18 couples will get the chance to win another individual medal in the freestyle.
