PROTECTING HORSES

‘Scatti di Libertà’ (Shots of freedom) is a photo exhibit organized in Milan, Italy.

From the 1st to the 3d of February 2013 by Nicole Berlusconi and Stefano Sapuppo, founders of Progetto Islander, an association that works to save mistreated equines and to raise awareness to this cause.

The photographs, shot by Francesca de Fazio, show horses in their natural environment and will be sold during an auction to raise money for Italian Horse Protection, an association operating in Italy to protect equines in general.

Last November, in Fieracavalli, Verona – Italy, KEP Italia invited Nicole Berlusconi to present her project and announce the exhibit during an event held in front of the media and decided to contribute to the cause by donating 10 helmets. Each of them will be especially decorated to celebrate horses and their beauty and will be realised in a unique edition.

“Kep Italia, whose main objective is that of protecting riders, is now happy to contribute through this donation to protect horses, the essence of our world” declared Lelia Polini, KEP Italia managing director.
